Senior Vice President Business, Marketing & Innovation

Graduated in Chemical Engineering by UNICAMP, master’s in business administration by FGV, Executive MBA at the Kellogg School of Management and multiple trainings at IMD in Switzerland, Andréa Soares initiated her career as a trainee at Oxiteno.

The executive developed her career focused on Ethylene Oxide and Derivatives industry.

Andréa worked in many positions, including Sales and R&D, being responsible for many different markets as Personal Care, Home Care, Crop Solutions and Coatings. She has solid experience in Product Management with a global view of the industry. In 2010, Andréa joined the board as Chief Commercial Officer, in charge for the Commercial Operation in the Company, in global basis. In 2016, she lived in the USA being a General Manager in Oxiteno new venture in that country.

Since 2017, Andréa is the Chief Marketing and Innovation Officer, in charge for the global long-term strategy for the main Markets and Innovation through R&D.

In 2022, she joined Indorama Ventures due to Oxiteno’ s acquisition. The focus has been kept on defining business and innovation strategies (project pipeline and management), as well as enhancing the relationship network across different innovation ecosystems

As a Board Member of ANPEI Brazil, the National Association for Research and Development at Innovative Companies, Andréa has been contributing to develop the innovation ecosystem in the country.
