Executive Director, Aromatics

Andrew is the EMEA Lead for the S&P Global Chemicals Insights team. He joined S&P Global in 2022 to lead the Global Aromatics and Fibers group and focuses on forecasting paraxylene value chain markets.

Andrew spent much of the past decade in the Middle East, most recently working for QatarEnergy where he was responsible for strategy development for the marketing and sales of Qatar’s exports of fuels, petrochemical feedstocks, petrochemicals and fertilisers. Prior to this, he was a Consulting Director at IHS Markit, leading single client assignments in the Middle East and India executing due diligence, merger support, country master-planning, cost benchmarking and value chain strategy for a diverse range of petrochemicals.

Andrew began his career with CMAI (later acquired by IHS IIHSS Markit) in London where he initially worked on single-client projects and then became responsible for aromatics market coverage and analysis for benzene, styrene, phenol and acetone in EMEA.
