Adriano Alfani is Chief Executive Officer of Versalis (Eni) and Chairman of Matrìca, a joint venture in chemicals from renewables.

With more than 20 years of experience in the international chemical industry, he has dealt with markets of considerable size, importance and complexity and has held various positions at international level mainly in Switzerland and the United States.

From 2001 to 2020 he worked at Dow in the supply chain, market development and product marketing, until he was appointed Senior Global Business Director and Senior Global Strategy Director, operating with a business model based on the principles of Innovation, Circular Economy and Sustainability.
