Member of the Executive Board

Daniela Vlad has been a member of the Executive Board of OMV AG since 1 February 2023. In this function, she took over the Chemicals & Materials division to further strengthen, expand and diversify the chemicals business. After her studies Daniela Vlad held management positions at Shell and Phillips. Most recently she was responsible for key global businesses at AkzoNobel – such as Powder Coatings and Industrial Coatings. Thanks to her many years of international experience in the chemical business and in leading strategic transformations, Daniela Vlad combines chemical and financial know-how as well as experience in the field of sustainable technical solutions. She holds a master’s degree in chemical engineering from the Technical University of Timisoara in Romania and a cum laude master’s degree in business administration from Twente University in the Netherlands.
