Diane Chamberlain

Mrs. Chamberlain assumed the role as president of Baystar in 2018. Her career in the refining and petrochemical industry includes a strong operational background in ethylene and polyethylene, as well as extensive experience in supply chain, sales, business development, technical marketing, and catalyst technology.
Prior to her current appointment, she served as the global business manager of Shell Catalysts and Technologies and general manager of Shell Chemical’s supply chain.
Her previous tenure includes Styrenics business development manager and propylene commercial manager for Chevron Phillips Chemical Company (CPChem). Preceding her time at CPChem, Mrs. Chamberlain held leadership and technical positions at ChevronTexaco: customer service and distribution manager, operations engineer, process control engineer and facilities engineer.
Mrs. Chamberlain earned a Bachelor of Science degree in chemical engineering and Bachelor of Science degree in economics from the University of Utah. She earned her Master of Business Administration from Rice University.
Mrs. Chamberlain’s experience and enthusiasm is guiding Baystar to leverage the strengths of TotalEnergies and Borealis and develop a fully integrated ethane-to-polyethylene supply chain that efficiently and safely manufactures innovative value-added, differentiated products.
