Vice President, Industry Processes and Cost Analytics (IPCA)

Don Bari is a Vice President with P&L responsibility for S&P Global’s Industry Processes and Cost Analytics (IPCA) business. Don, with over 4 decades of industry process experience, and his team have a strong focus on refining and petrochemical integration, and decarbonization from a technical and financial analytics perspective. Associated with his customer engagements, Don has worked directly with clients in over 50 countries across the. He holds an MBA in Finance and a BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Connecticut. Don began his career as a Process Design Chemical Engineer at Kvaerner (formerly John Brown Constructors and Crawford & Russell).

Don’s business group, IPCA, is global in coverage and is powered by our team of well experienced Chemical Engineers, Chemists, MBAs, and CFAs to evaluate embryonic, developing, commercially operating chemical, refinery, decarbonization, renewables, bio, and energy-related process technologies. Our core strength is providing our customers a transparent and independent view of such technology against a business sustainability (commercial) framework, a.k.a. “the business of technology”, using a "bottom-up" chemical engineering approach.
