Director, Strategic Analytics and Process Technology

Mr. Kelly serves as Director of Strategic Analytics and Process Technology in the chemicals group at IHS Markit.

He currently leads development efforts around analytic solutions providing detailed insight into the competitive landscape of the global refining and chemical industries in the areas of process technology, process economics, and asset/company level profitability. He is also responsible for preparing techno-economic evaluations of commercial and emerging process technologies, with a recent focus on propane dehydrogenation technologies. He joined IHS Markit (legacy CMAI) in 2000, with past responsibilities for market analysis in the areas of energy, olefins, and aromatics along with supply/demand, production cost, and price forecast modeling development. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree with honors in Chemical Engineering from the University of Texas.
