Navanit Narayan is a seasoned, accomplished, and forward-thinking business leader with over three decades of enriched experience in multinational and multicultural organizations. While Navanit has a proven track record of strategically transforming the financial and business health of large corporations through a balanced and consultative approach, his entrepreneurial skills have enabled him to establish new businesses on a global scale and revitalise early-stage startups. As a Board Member, CEO and Executive Team Leader Navanit has mentored and coached Business Heads and Teams across various sectors, including telecom, fintech, out-sourcing and consulting, in complex and competitive markets across Asia, Africa and Europe. Navanit attributes great importance on effective communication and building strong relationships to attain larger business goals and is highly skilled at managing and motivating diverse teams. Navanit is a strong believer of creating a sustainable business environment and takes keen interest in the matters of ESG and in his current position as the CEO of Halida Petrochemicals Limited, is leading and driving various ESG initiatives. Prior to his current role as the WTD and CEO of Haldia Petrochemicals Limited, he held several key positions in leading organisations such as Lyca Group/Lyca Mobile UK handling operations across 23 countries, Vodafone Idea Limited, Nokia, Wipro BPO and Tata Steel Limited. He is an alumnus of the prestigious Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra and Northwestern University, Illinois. In addition, he is a British Chevening Scholar at the Leeds University Business School, UK and completed a postgraduate program in business management and marketing from XLRI, Jamshedpur, further enhancing his extensive knowledge in the field of management.
