Director, Chemical Consulting

Ryan works as a Director in Commodity Insights Chemical Consulting business. Ryan spends the majority of his time working with clients on investment related projects, mergers and acquisitions, market studies, project financing, and technology assessments.

Ryan is an expert in fertilisers and in particular Ammonia, Urea, and other products along the ammonia chain. The role of blue and green ammonia in the coming decades supporting energy markets is a new area.

Apart from fertiliser projects, Ryan also contributes to a wide variety of projects for both commodity and specialty chemicals, including inorganic chemistry such as fluorine, soda ash, and lithium chemicals .

His work experience before moving to consultancy was in the mining sector, working in as process engineer in South Africa, Ireland and the UK.
