Director, Fibers

Shannan Billings is currently the Chemical Insights US Director of Fibers for S&P Global. In this role, she is responsible for analyzing and reporting on market developments, engaging with industry across key trends and delivering concise insights in the fibers supply chain.

Shannan Billings recently joined S&P Global from Shaw Industries, a Berkshire Hathaway company. Shannan was the senior director of direct and indirect sourcing and outside manufacturing in the Global Sourcing team for hard and soft surfaces operations managing a portfolio of $2.5 billion. Prior to Shaw, Shannan worked in the engineering field program and as a co-op for DuPont, as well as for Union Camp and International Paper as a process and project engineer. Shannan has over 32 years of experience in manufacturing operations, project management, sourcing and procurement strategy and product development.
