Director, Fibers

Shanshan is the Director of Fibers at S&P Global Chemical Insights Asia Pacific. She joined S&P Global in 2023, focusing on fiber market analysis and providing textile value chain insights to the industry.

Prior to S&P Global, Shanshan has spent almost 20 years in the fiber industry, focusing on marketing and business development activities. She has been involved in the production of all steps of the textile value chain, from feedstocks, to fiber, yarn, fabric and garment manufacturers, and worked extensively with brands and retailers on sustainability matters.

Shanshan most recently worked for the Avient Group for eight years and was responsible for strategy planning, innovation and the marketing on sustainable solutions for synthetic fiber spun dyeing. She previously worked for Celanese in the emulsion sector of the textile industry and prior to that was with DyStar which is a colorants and color standard solutions provider.
