CEO

Stefan Lepecki is a Brazilian Mechanical Engineer graduated from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ) and has an MBA from the Getulio Vargas Foundation of Brazil.

He has 30 years of experience in the petrochemical business. He has been involved in activities in the areas of engineering, planning, finance and information technology.

Stefan was responsible for the implementation of Braskem Idesa Petrochemical Complex Project, located in the southeast of Veracruz State in Mexico. An investment of US$ 5,2 billion, the largest petrochemical project of Latin America and one of the most important private investments ever made in Mexico.

Since 2017, he has been actuating as CEO of Braskem Idesa, a JV between the Brazilian petrochemical company Braskem and Idesa Group, one of the most important petrochemical groups in Mexico.

He is also member of the Board of ANIQ (Chemical Industry Association in Mexico) and Director of APLA (Petrochemical and Chemical Association in Latin America).
